We are delighted to introduce you to Dr. Alaebo, your trusted GP in skin health and minor surgical procedures. Dr. Alaebo's journey in medicine has been nothing short of remarkable. Initially trained in general surgery, he later transitioned to a fulfilling career in General Practice in the UK, where he dedicated many years to providing compassionate healthcare. During this time, he achieved a Masters in Public Health and specialised as a general practitioner, making him exceptionally equipped to cater to your health needs.

Dr. Alaebo brings a unique blend of expertise to his practice, with a deep passion for skin health and minor surgical procedures. He has mastered procedures such as toenail surgery, skin flap repairs, and skin grafts, iron infusion, Implanon removal and insertion.

Beyond that, he is equally committed to managing chronic diseases and assisting with worker's compensation and injury claims. Moreover, he takes special interest in the health of both children and men, striving to provide tailored care that promotes well-being at every stage of life.

Dr Abdul Khan

MBBS, FRACGP

A familiar face, Dr Khan has been regularly working locums with us. He has moved from Queensland to settle in Canberra and we welcome him full time to the practice. He has a long history in general practice and has experience an all areas.

Dr Aster Lau

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr. Aster Lau has completed her general practice training in Hong Kong since 2006. She also has been a public health physician as well as a general practitioner before relocating to Australia in 2020. She enjoys meeting patients with various background and is particularly interested in counselling.

Apart from working hard, Aster likes cooking and travelling. She speaks fluent English and Cantonese.

Dr George Tse

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr George Tse is an experienced General Practitioner who previously worked as an Emergency Physician before relocating to Australia in 2021. His background in emergency medicine has provided him with extensive experience managing a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions.

Dr Tse consults in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, allowing him to provide care to patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
In addition to general medical care, Dr Tse performs a number of procedures including iron infusions, ear irrigation, and Implanon insertion and replacement.

Dr Tse has also been approved to prescribe ADHD medications in accordance with the conditions of the Standing CHO Approval in the ACT.

Dr Iftikhar Hussain

MBBS (London), FRACGP

Dr Hussain graduated from The London Hospital Medical College (University of London) in 1998. He completed his Hospital and General Practice training in London.
Dr Hussain has a Diploma in Childrens Health and a certificate in Diabetes care. Dr Hussain worked as a GP in the UK for 17 years, where he was involved in teaching medical students and training GP registrars.
As well as General Practice Dr Hussain has undertaken additional training in diabetes, dermatology and skin cancer and also performs joint injections.

Dr Chun Wong

MBChB, FRACGP, FHKCFP, FHKAM (Family Medicine) DCH Professional Certificate in musculoskeletal and sports medicine

Dr. Chun-fai Wong is an experienced family physician with a wealth of experience. A graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2003, Dr. Wong's journey to becoming a medical expert has been marked by dedication and a commitment to patient care. He honed his skills through rigorous General Practice training, ultimately achieving his RACGP fellowship in 2013.
With over 15 years of professional practice as a family physician in Hong Kong, Dr. Wong has garnered a deep appreciation for the multifaceted world of General Practice. His fluency in English and Cantonese, coupled with his ability to communicate in Mandarin, ensures that patients from diverse backgrounds receive compassionate and effective care. Beyond his medical career, Dr. Wong finds solace in cherished moments spent with his family.

Dr Margaret Ogundadegbe

MBBS, MRCGP

Dr. Margaret Ogundadegbe is a UK-trained General Practitioner with more than a decade of experience caring for patients across a wide range of medical specialties and healthcare environments. She is passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care that recognises the whole person—not just their symptoms.
Being a daughter, sister, woman, and mother herself, she appreciates the complex ways health influences every aspect of life. Her professional interests include women's health, children's health, chronic disease management, healthy ageing, and mental health, with a particular focus on helping patients navigate the connections between physical wellbeing, emotional health, family dynamics, and everyday life.
Dr. Margaret believes that great healthcare goes beyond treating illness. Her aim is to partner with patients and their families to support prevention, promote wellbeing, and help people thrive through every stage of life.

Charan Walia

Exercise Physiologist

Charan is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 20 years of experience in the field of Exercise Physiology, Performance and Rehabilitation. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, he moved to Perth after being awarded an industry scholarship to study an undergraduate in Sports and Exercise Science at Edith Cowan University. He then completed a Graduate Diploma in Science (Exercise Rehabilitation) from the University of Western Australia.

Charan has worked with elite level performers including the Kenya National Olympic Team in areas of performance and load management. At CCMC he works predominantly with chronic disease management. He sees his role as a relationship manager- helping you improve your relationship with movement. Charan is also qualified as a Professional Breathwork Practitioner.

Brad Tarrant

Dietitian

Brad is an Accredited Practising Dietitian based in Canberra and the founder of Nourish & Support Dietetics. He holds a Bachelor of Human Nutrition, Graduate Diploma in Nutritional Science, and Master of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Having been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 22, Brad understands firsthand how challenging it can be to manage a chronic condition. This lived experience shapes his compassionate, down-to-earth approach – and is at the heart of everything he does.

Brad is passionate about supporting people at every stage of their health journey, whether you're seeking general nutrition guidance, taking a proactive approach to your wellbeing, or looking to manage a chronic health condition. He works with each client to develop simple, personalised strategies that align with their lifestyle, preferences, and goals – focusing on achievable changes that lead to long-term results, without strict rules or unrealistic expectations. His goal is to help you feel confident in your food choices while building a healthier, more positive relationship with food.

Brad has foundational training in the dietary management of a range of conditions, including Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis), Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Coeliac disease, dysphagia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Diverticulosis, Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver disease, and patients who have undergone cholecystectomy. He is well-equipped to manage straightforward cases independently and takes a collaborative approach for more complex presentations of these conditions, working alongside the referring GP or facilitating appropriate referrals where needed.

Brad offers affordable, individualised nutrition care. He bulk bills eligible patients and can process private health insurance claims – making quality nutrition support accessible to more people. Appointments are available in-person in Canberra at the three clinics he works across – Hyperdome Medical Centre (Tuesdays), Cooleman Court Medical Centre (Wednesdays) and Riverside Medical Centre (Fridays).
